The security deposit/bond is refunded when the vehicle is returned to the correct location on time and all terms of the rental contract have been complied with.
The supplier requires a security bond when you collect the vehicle.
Please ensure that there are sufficient funds available.
There are certain roads and areas that you cannot drive this vehicle on. You will not be insured if you drive on these roads and therefore you will be fully liable for any damage that might occur. Please see the supplier’s terms for details of restricted areas.
Airport shuttle is offered free of charge within normal office hours.
All additional drivers must meet the same license requirements as the main driver. The first driver is included in the rates but there is a daily charge for each additional driver.

The vehicle is covered by roadside assistance for any mechanical faults. If the call out is due to driver negligence, for example lost keys or running out of fuel, the renter may be charged a breakdown call out fee.
NO SHOW - A failure to collect vehicle prior to your reserved pick up time and date, will incur at minimum a no show fee. Supplier may impose additional fees/charges, please check with supplier directly.
Vehicle must be returned at or before the expiry of the term of hire and should be returned in the same condition as when rented, normal wear and tear excepted.
You may be required to pay local tolls or highway fees, depending on where you intend to drive.
Smoking is not permitted in the vehicle.
Excess Refund Insurance - Most car rental companies hold a bond or security deposit, primarily to cover the excess payment that is not covered by insurance in the event of an accident. You can protect your bond by purchasing Excess Refund Insurance during the booking process, which will reimburse you for costs up to the amount of your bond. No pets are permitted in the vehicle.
It is your responsibility to cover the cost of any traffic infringements, such as speeding or parking fines or toll evasion, incurred during the rental period. The supplier will charge you a fee to administer any fines.
Petrol/Diesel is not included in the rates. Each vehicle is supplied with a full tank and shall be returned with a similar full tank. Otherwise, refuelling charges will be applied at the Renter's expense.

Driver licence rules
All drivers must carry a valid full license from their country of residence. If it is not in English you must also present an International Driving Permit or a suitable translation. License must be valid for the entire rental period.

Amendments to bookings
If you experience any delays, you must contact the office immediately prior to your reserved pick up time.
You will not receive a refund if you return the vehicle early, reduce the number of days on your confirmed reservation or downgrade the vehicle type from the category booked.
Restricted roads / areas of use
Vehicles must not be used on unsealed roads, or roads with a surface or condition that involves risk to the tyres or parts underneath the vehicle.

(2) * Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
Collision Damage Waiver reduces the renter's liability from the total cost of the damage to an excess amount, where applicable.
Exclusions include driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, renter's negligence, such as careless, dangerous driving, refueling error, etc. In those cases, you may be required to bear the loss as follows:

Protection waiver products include damage to body, roof, undercarriage, chassis, windshield, windows, mirrors, wheels, tires, hubcaps, engine, clutch, battery and lock, Trailer fees, one puncture, one empty fuel tank, car keys, or the loss of a key lock in the car, the replacement lock.

(6) * Required Documents
Your credentials will usually be sent to you within 48 hours of receiving your booking. We may take longer to confirm and notify you. Please contact us if you have questions related to our customer service staff.
(7) * Driving license * ID/Passport

Please ensure you provide your flight details at time of booking so a Galaxy Asia Car Rental representative can meet you at the airport. Please note that all after hours pick up will incur an additional fee of 53 ringgit out of hour 22.00 – 00.00 , and 00:01 – 01:00 will charge MYR 150.
(13) * Fines
Customer is responsible for all tolls, congestion charges, speeding tickets; parking and traffic fines; and any related administrative costs. If left unpaid, these charges will be taken from your credit card.
(14) * Smoking Policy
All vehicles are non-smoking. If you violate this policy, you will be charged a cleaning fee of up to RM250.
(15) * Cancellation Rental Car policy
Prepaid bookings can be cancelled for free up to 48 hours before the rental starts.
Reservations cancelled within 48 hours of the start of the rental will be charged a fee equal to the cost of a 3-day rental.
Cancellation fees will never be greater than the cost of the actual car rental.
No-shows will not be refunded.
(16) * Government Service Tax.
A 6% GST is applicable on services such as delivery/collection, one-way rental, GPS / satellite navigation system, baby seat, or any other optional services.
(17) * Extension Of Rental
Any extension of rental beyond the agreed return date and time must be arranged in advance with the required additional rental paid. This will guarantee you are covered for the extended period.
(18)* One Way Rental
Should the vehicle be returned at a different city location, A one way rental fee will be applied. Fee is RM 450 and subject to 6% government tax.
(19) * Delivery
Free vehicle delivery within Kuala Lumpur applies to all bookings of 5 days minimum.

Terms of booking on this website
The rates on this website are often heavily discounted. This is due to our negotiated rates and bulk buying power. On very rare occasions, a rate may be displayed incorrectly due to our, or a vehicle supplier's error. In such a case, if you book with us at a quoted rate that is incorrect, we will notify you of any price change and give you the option to proceed or cancel. We make every effort to keep information on our site up to date, but we cannot guarantee this website is free of errors or omissions and retain the right to update or change the information published at any time.
To the extent permitted by law we/the owners of this website will not be liable to you or to any third party (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage (including but not limited to any accident, injury, delay or loss of enjoyment) arising out of your reliance upon information contained on this website, including but not limited to your use (or inability to use) any products or services described or procured through this website.
When you pick up your vehicle, you will be required to sign a rental agreement with the supplier of the vehicle. The rental agreement is between you and the supplier and we will not be liable to you or to any third party in relation to the terms of the supplier’s rental agreement or any other documentation provided to you by the supplier at the time of pick up.
While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure we are representing only reputable suppliers, we make no warranty about the fitness or suitability of any third party (supplier) product or service and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness of any vehicle. We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.
Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice. The deposit required to secure your vehicle (as shown on the secure booking page) will only be processed on your credit card when your booking is confirmed.
A booking is confirmed when you have been emailed a confirmation voucher and at this stage the deposit is processed on your card and becomes non-refundable and any cancellation fees stated in the supplier's terms apply. Upon receipt of your confirmation, please check your details carefully and notify us immediately if there are any incorrect details, as it may not be possible to make changes at a later date.
If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.
In booking on this website you acknowledge that we disclose your information to your selected Supplier in order to provide the requested rental services.
Please note that some suppliers treat an amendment as a new booking and apply the rate current at the time the amendment is made to recalculate the entire booking amount (not just the days changed). If the rental period is increased, an additional deposit may be required. If the rental period is shortened which results in a reduction of the rental charges, the deposit amount will remain unchanged, and the difference between the original and revised deposit is forfeited (it cannot be used towards remaining rental charges). To request a change to a confirmed booking, please use the alterations request link on your confirmation. Any alterations are subject to availability and the approval of the supplier. In addition to the alteration policy of the supplier stated in their terms, the following charges will apply:

Vehicle Capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.
We are committed to providing a quality service and aim for complete customer satisfaction. In the event of cancellation, any refunds or penalties are detailed in the terms and conditions of your selected vehicle that you are asked to read and accept at time of booking. In the event you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.
